This week Hingham Jewelers was awarded with two local awards for its overall excellence.
Hingham Jewelers was voted the best jewelry store in Hingham by the readers of community newspapers on the South Shore.
Cape Cod Life magazine also recognized Hingham Jewelers in its local awards category of “Best Shop for Jewelry” on the South Shore. Hingham Jewelers received the Editor’s Choice in that category.
These awards truly prove that Hingham Jewelers is not your average jewelry store.
February: Amethyst
Amethyst, the gemstone believed by ancient Greeks and Romans to ward off the intoxicating powers of Bacchus, also is said to keep the wearer clear-headed and quick-witted. Throughout history, the gemstone has been associated with many myths, legends, religions, and numerous cultures. English regalia were even decorated with amethysts during the Middle Ages to symbolize royalty.
