Governor Deval Patrick has approved another Sales Tax Holiday for Massachusetts.

On Saturday August 11, any new purchase under $2,500 will be exempt from the state’s 6.25% sales tax.

Purchases over $2,500 will be taxed. Special orders must be paid in full and be under $2,500 on that day to qualify. Layaways are excluded.
