We are located just off of Route 3 less than 20 miles south of Boston and about 20 miles north of Plymouth.
From Points North and West:
Follow Route 128 or Interstate 93 to Route 3 in Braintree. Proceed south on Route 3 to Exit 14/Route 228. At the end of the ramp, turn left and proceed approx. 0.5 mile to the lights at the intersection of Route 228 and Route 53 Whiting Street. Turn left onto Route 53 North / Whiting Street and look for the distinctive landmark building of Hingham Jewelers about 0.1 miles on the right.
From Points South:
Follow Route 3 south to Exit 14/Route 228. At the end of the ramp, turn right at the lights and proceed less than 0.5 mile to the lights at the intersection of Route 228 and Route 53 Whiting Street. Turn left onto Route 53 North / Whiting Street and look for the distinctive landmark building of Hingham Jewelers about 0.1 miles on the right.
February: Amethyst
Amethyst, the gemstone believed by ancient Greeks and Romans to ward off the intoxicating powers of Bacchus, also is said to keep the wearer clear-headed and quick-witted. Throughout history, the gemstone has been associated with many myths, legends, religions, and numerous cultures. English regalia were even decorated with amethysts during the Middle Ages to symbolize royalty.
