As a part-time Sales Associate at Hingham Jewelers your primary focus is to build and maintain relationships with your clients. You are the most critical link in ensuring that our customers’ experience in our store is nothing short of outstanding. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, demonstrating excellent customer service, building and maintaining a loyal client base, providing clients with product knowledge, calling clients for events and the arrival of new merchandise and working as part of a team to meet individual and store objectives.

Her 7-year-old Jake chose the lucky cupcake marked to win a $600 18k white gold diamond Roberto Coin necklace!

You’ll remember that each person who came in our store on Saturday May 11 was given a cupcake, each with a number. One of those cupcakes, we told our customers, would win the necklace.

As it turns out, Janet ran in this year’s Boston Marathon. She was stopped at mile 18 and never finished the race. Her family was near the finish line waiting for her, but fortunately was not injured in the bombing. She was running to raise money for Dana Farber.

As he appraises your items, you are invited to sit with him, watch the process, and ask any questions you may have. The final appraisal will include pictures, measurements and grades of any gem stones, along with detailed information about the mounting and metals used in the piece.

On either day between 10am and 5pm bring your jewelry- everything from rings to necklaces to bracelets- to be inspected and cleaned while you wait! We recommend your rings be inspected at least every 6 months, as everyday wear can lead to missing prongs and loose stones.

The best part of Spa Day is that our Goldsmith will be polishing your jewelry while your wait! That service typically requires you to leave your items at the store- but not on Spa Day!

Cleaning and inspection of your items is complimentary, as always. There is a small fee for the polishing, which will make your jewels look like new just in time for Easter!

I just returned from a buying trip in New York. Our visit confirms what I have projected as the new trends…color is everywhere, as is the reemergence of yellow gold!  Corals, turquoise, and water colors were everywhere. Greens were abundant too. Dangle earrings continue to surge as do fun, big rings. Layering continues to be strong in bracelets and necklaces.
