Lagos
Steven Lagos founded LAGOS in 1977 with the idea to create exquisite jewelery that offered a luxury and sophistication to accentuate the modern women’s lifestyle. Today, LAGOS is one of the most successfully marketed jewelery brands in America.
For over a quarter of a century, LAGOS has created award-winning collections with a classic signature style. Each collection is versatile, and designed to create magnificent jewelery wardrobes inspired by an individual’s own personal style.
The LAGOS story highlights two individual talents, Steven Lagos and Ann King, a partnership born from a chance meeting at a trade show in New York City in 1983. Both Steven and Ann, successful artists each in their own right, fused their visions and created a company that is shaping the definition of jewellery design in the new century.
From the beginning of their partnership, Steven and Ann LAGOS have contributed to each other’s jewelery lines artistically and strategically. Collaboratively they introduced the LAGOS Caviar™ Collection created in 1984. The challenge was to create a new jewelery category —one that would appeal to individuals desiring the style and
quality of fine jewelery, but at a more attractive price point. Their solution was a bold collection of finely crafted sterling silver, accented by eighteen-karat gold, semi-precious gemstones and tiny, caviar-like beads. This collection was so successful, it is credited for helping to launch the bridge jewelery movement.
The LAGOS Caviar™ Collections are designed in eighteen karat gold, sterling silver, and semi-precious stones to create luxurious and exclusive lines. The perfectly polished metal, brilliant colour, and semi-precious gemstones place the Caviar™ Collections in the top rank of best-selling fine jewelery.
The LAGOS full-service artisans ensure that every piece is guaranteed for a lifetime of enjoyment. LAGOS jewelery is created by using old world techniques that reflect all of the inherited traditions of fine jewelery making.
