Hingham Jewelers, the South Shore’s premier jewelry store, is in search of a results-oriented, innovative Personal Shopper and Sales Associate. This can be either a full-time or part-time position.
What You’ll Do
Our Personal Shopper will provide expert styling advice, and give the highest level of customer service possible, to individual clients. By giving personalized attention and providing advanced knowledge of products, services, and trends, personal shoppers become trusted consultants for clients who want an enhanced buying experience, both in person and online.
Using social media, e-mail, texting, telephone, and face-to-face communications, you will craft a shopping experience for customers which is easy, inspiring, and productive.
Other in-store duties, as part of our commitment to service, as assigned.
What You Need
While no prior jewelry experience is required for this position, prior industry knowledge or sales experience is a plus. More than anything, you must be creative and motivated. We expect our Personal Shopper to be well versed in social media trends, ranging from Facebook to Instagram to TikTok, and able to communicate face-to-face with luxury-oriented clients. Attention to detail, and a willingness to constantly innovate new sales techniques, is a must.
