At Hingham Jewelers, we believe that every piece of jewelry tells a story—not just of love, celebration, or personal style, but also of craftsmanship, care, and community. That’s why we’re proud to share more about where many of our gold and silver earrings come from: a dedicated, family-run manufacturing partner right here in New England, nestled in the heart of what used to be a booming jewelry manufacturing hub in Rhode Island.
As a third-generation family business, transparency isn’t just a value—it’s a promise. We’ve always believed that our customers deserve to know where their jewelry comes from, who makes it, and the journey it takes before it reaches our cases.
Last fall we took you to Louisiana, to showcase another partner's factory, and now we lift the curtain on another key part of our supply chain.
Recently, our team toured the Rhode Island factory where many of our earrings begin their journey. Walking the factory floor, we were struck not just by the hum of machinery or the gleam of raw metals, but by the people—some of whom have been working there for decades. Their experience and passion are poured into every detail, from casting and polishing to setting stones and perfecting the final finish.
Each pair of earrings can take two to three days to complete, with dozens of skilled hands involved along the way. It’s a process rooted in tradition and precision, where quality isn't rushed and every piece is treated with care. This isn’t fast fashion—it’s artisan jewelry, made to last.
What makes us even prouder to partner with this Rhode Island manufacturer is their commitment to excellence. Every piece crafted in their facility is backed by a lifetime manufacturing guarantee—a testament to the confidence they have in their workmanship, and the lasting value we want to pass on to you.
By sharing this part of our journey, we hope to do more than offer beautiful jewelry—we hope to deepen your connection to the people and practices behind it. Because when you choose Hingham Jewelers, you're not just supporting a local store. You're supporting a network of American craftsmanship, honest sourcing, and timeless design.
From our family to yours, thank you for letting us be part of your story—one meaningful piece at a time.
