Medallion Created from Recycled Gold, Diamonds

Our custom design team is regularly working with clients to create pieces specific to their needs. In between those projects, our team is also designing pieces that are made and sold exclusively here at Hingham Jewelers.

In many cases, those pieces are made from recycled materials.

That's the case with this gold and diamond medallion.

Our design team sketched out a plan for the piece, in response to a surge in demand for medallions this spring.

Then our Goldsmith brought the plan to life.

The gold we used was scrap--accumulated over the years from old pieces we had in our reserves. The diamonds were also extracted from old items in our reserves.

This leaves us with a stunning piece made right here at our Hingham store from all reused materials.
