Dear Friends,
As we begin week three of having our doors open, I wanted to take a moment and thank you all for your continued support and provide an update on the current situation.
When COVID-19 forced the closure of our retail storefront we wondered, “how would be operate?”
Fortunately for us, we are one of the few local independently owned stores that was positioned well to pivot to an online business.
Through this process we have continued to ship or personally deliver online purchases, phone orders, and text orders.
We have learned a lot of new things and realized how quickly things are changing. We held our first virtual live “trunk show” and were pleasantly surprised by the attendance and how much our clients enjoyed it. Sometimes forced change is good, and learning new things continues to force us to re-evaluate how we operate and how we can better serve our clients.
Now that we are able to have our doors open we are operating on a somewhat limited schedule of Tuesday through Saturday from 10-4. This allows for us to continue our cleaning protocols.
Our doors are open for shopping, browsing, and repair drop offs.
At this time we are unable to perform ‘while you wait’ services, but we continue to complete them as soon as it is safely possible for our clients, as well as our employees. We thank you for your understanding.
For those of you still not comfortable visiting us in store we continue to offer curbside delivery and drop-offs.
We are also offering in store appointments for convenience. Simply call, text, or e-mail to set up an appointment.
For those of you who prefer online shopping we continue to update our website daily with all of our new arrivals. You can text us in real time while browsing online, if you have questions about an item.
Although the new “normal” looks different than any of us could imagine, we at Hingham Jewelers are ready.
Each day we learn something new and continue to discover new ways to be your jeweler of choice.
