Styles change over time. What we once liked now may seem passé.
That’s true of clothing, hair styles, and our jewelry.
A client recently came to us ready to re-do her original engagement ring, which was a simple solitaire.
She wanted to create one new ring that was larger—big enough to take the place of both her engagement ring and wedding band.
During her design consultation, she also told our specialist that she wanted to include a design related to her Irish heritage, as well as the birthstones of her kids. She found a ring in our showcase that she really liked the look of, so our designer used that as a jumping off point to then sketch out tweaks which would hit all of her style requests.
From that sketch we then created a computer rendering of our proposed custom ring.
The client loved it, so the ring moved into production.
The end result was beautiful. Crafted in yellow gold, it boasts gorgeous Celtic inspired detail on either side of the client’s original diamond, now bezel set. Peridot and Emerald, the two stones representing her children’s August and May birthdays, were used as the accents. The green color of both stones work with the Irish theme perfectly.
