Several months ago, a woman was browsing around our store and found a ring she loved. It was a criss cross yellow gold ring with a double row of small diamonds, crossed with a high-polished row of yellow gold beading.
She wanted a very similar style, but ideally wanted to use stones from two other pieces she had sitting in her jewelry box.
One was a diamond band that she no longer wore, with 9 stones.
The other was her grandmother’s ring, which also had 4 stones in it.
With the inspiration from the ring in store, and the family diamonds to use, our design team went to work.
The first step was creating a computer rendering of what the ring would look like, using the customer’s stones.
Then, with the computer renderings approved, the ring went into production. Instead of yellow gold, like the original ring she liked, the client preferred white gold.
The end result was stunning, offering the client the style she loved, with the sentimentally of both her own band, and her family diamonds that had been passed down.
