It's understandable. Jewelry styles and tastes change from generation to generation.
Recently a customer came in with a fashion ring handed down to her. It didn't fit her style, but our designers knew immediately there was lots of potential. The ring featured several diamonds that shouldn't go to waste.
Our Goldsmith was able to use the family diamonds, and set them into a beautiful, more contemporary band.
This style change allows the customer to keep her family history on her finger all the time, in a style that she loves and is happy to show off.
