What to do with "scrap" parts? There are so many options. Sitting in a jewelry box shouldn't be one of them.
This spring a client stopped in with a diamond tennis bracelet. She needed it adjusted. We removed three diamond stations to make it smaller, leaving her with "extra" diamonds.
Instead of letting those diamonds sit around, going to waste, she asked for design suggestions.
Our team decided to use two of the small diamonds to create a pair of diamond studs, set in 14k white gold, in addition to a bezel set diamond pendant.
Both of these are what we would call jewelry wardrobe staples--pieces that can be worn almost every day.
Now, in addition to a properly fitting diamond tennis bracelet, this client has the pleasure of a complete diamond suite of jewelry!
