Jewelry is sentimental, and in many cases, is passed down from generation to generation.
Recently, a woman came in with her father’s baptismal gold bracelet. She wanted to repurpose the bracelet for her daughter, who was turning 21.
Our design specialists went to work, developing a plan to keep the gold link style the same, while reworking the gold plate portion of the bracelet. That involved melting down the original gold plate, which was quite large, and making a new plate from that same gold.
The new plate was made a bit thinner, to be more feminine. We also added a small diamond to the diamond plate for an added special touch. To finish the piece we engraved the girl’s name on the front in script, with her birthdate on the back.
Now, for the rest of her life, the recipient will have this special memory from her grandfather on her wrist, with the added memory of her 21st birthday!
