Since we’re all spending more time at home, many people have finally started to organize their jewelry box.
In many cases, that means discovering pieces that have long been in need of repair.
We have a team of Goldsmiths ready to complete those repairs, in many cases right here at our store.
Here are some of the most common jewelry repairs that our service team tackles.
RING SIZING
Sometimes, for a variety of reasons, your favorite ring may no longer fit. Other times a ring is passed down and needs to be sized for a new generation to wear and enjoy. Our Goldsmiths can size most rings up or down, in silver, gold, or platinum.
PRONGS
Prongs, or the little pieces of metal that hold your stones in place, can easily break or wear down. This is normal because of every day wear and tear that you may not even notice with the naked eye.
Stop by to have us inspect your prongs. If we find one that is broken or in need or repair, our team can take care of it before you lose a stone.
BROKEN CHAINS
Chains can break quite easily, especially if they are worn while sleeping. Our Goldsmiths can solder broken silver and gold chains so you can again wear and enjoy them.
RESTRINGING
If your pearl bracelet or necklace breaks, not to worry. Our repair team can restring it so it’s like new again.
JEWELRY CLEANING
After a summer of the beach and pool days, plus lots of hand sanitizer, most of our jewelry is in need of cleaning.
We can clean your jewelry while you browse around our store, or our Goldsmiths can professionally polish your jewelry to make it look like new again.
On Friday October 2 we’ll be hosting one of our ‘Spa Days’, albeit modified for COVID-19. If you drop your rings off on Thursday October 1, our Goldsmith will polish them on Friday, so you can have them back either late in the day Friday or Saturday.
WATCH BATTERIES
If your watch stops, we have a team of technicians able to change the battery, or fully clean and overhaul the interior mechanism of your watch.
