This summer a client sought out Hingham Jewelers after noticing our custom work posted on Instagram.
She was interested in combining her mother’s engagement ring diamond with her own larger engagement diamond. There were also 11 princess cut diamonds and 4 smaller round diamonds from the 2 rings to be included in the new projects-- a new 3-stone ring and a new pendant-- both in 14k yellow gold.

We sourced 3 diamonds to complete the design of the new ring: one to match her mother’s larger diamond, which was used as a side stone in the new ring, and 2 smaller accent diamonds to finish the ring.

After a few updates to the digital design renderings that we produced, the piece was finished by our master goldsmith who set each diamond with care and precision.

While the beautiful new ring showcased all round diamonds, the client decided the princess cut stones would make a perfect bar shaped pendant to match one of her bracelets. Even though the diamonds were not exactly the same size, the goldsmith’s exceptional craftsmanship produced a fully custom pendant to accommodate all of the remaining square diamonds.

After weeks of planning and creation our client was treated to these stunning new pieces--loaded with sentimentality. She told us she was eager to show her family members how her Mom's diamonds were now reborn, and ready to be enjoyed again!
