Over the years, it’s easy to accumulate a collection of jewelry that eventually sits in a box.
A client recently came in with her own collection, hoping to recreate something new out of a somewhat random assortment of items. She had a marquise shaped diamond, from her father, a three stone ring she no longer wore, and a half pair of diamond earrings.
Her goal was to use these stones to create stacking rings that could be worn together. Our team went to work, devising a plan to create three white gold stacking rings, and one rose gold ring.
The marquise shaped diamond, and two round diamonds from the ring, were bezel set into the white gold stackers. The different shapes work together to give off a funky vibe that’s very unique.
We sprinkled the diamonds from the half pair of earrings into a rose gold band with a hammered finish. This can be worn on its own, or with the other stacking rings to add an extra pop of texture and color.
These rings offer so many options—wearing them together, in pairs, or all at once—and use stones that otherwise would’ve “gone to waste” sitting in a jewelry box.
