A client recently came into our store after having read one of our earlier Custom Creation blog posts.
Seeing how we transformed another customer’s piece, she was ready to explore a re-design of her own.
She had a ruby ring, set with a diamond halo, and a pair of ruby earrings, also set with a diamond halo.
She wanted a new ring style, and she rarely wore the earrings.
When she brought both pieces into our Design Specialist she mentioned that she wanted a big statement ring, using the rubies from both the earrings and the existing ring.
Our team worked with her to custom design a stunning band from scratch. The first step was a rough hand drawing in our store, followed by a detailed computer rendering of what the final ring would look like.
The final piece features all three of her rubies, each surrounded by a halo of diamonds from her original ring and earrings.
A beautiful lattice pattern is the focal point of the band’s center, on either side of the rubies.
Each edge of the band is then finished with another row of small diamonds.
The client was delighted with the final product, and how nicely her rubies pop.
