Over the years, many women are fortunate enough to collect countless pieces of beautiful jewelry.
Some of that is given to them by significant others, some of it is passed down from earlier generations.
Inevitably, not all of it gets worn as styles and preferences change.
Instead of letting those pieces sit in your jewelry box, or buying yet another piece of new jewelry, think about redesigning what you already have.
That’s exactly what a woman recently did when she came into our store.
When she arrived she had a pair of diamond studs that she no longer wore.
She also had a ring that she didn’t wear because she didn’t like the style. It featured a tension set princess cut diamond.
She ideally wanted to use these pieces to create a brand new ring that would fill her finger.
Our design team went to work, measuring her existing stones and mapping out a few options that would meet her preferences.
The design she loved most was a three stone, halo style ring. Our Goldsmiths crafted a ring to use her princess cut diamond in the center, with the two round diamonds from the studs on either side.
Each of those stones was surrounded by a halo of small diamonds, which we supplied.
Down the shank of the ring, we used the princess cut side diamonds from her original ring.
The end result was stunning!
